The Legendary Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss is the world renownedcartoonist and writers of ubiquitous children’s books such as The cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books are so loved by youngsters and adults alike that his books have been adapted into 11 TV shows, 3 full-length pictures, and even a Broadway show. Creating characters, stories, and literary devices so imaginative that youngsters were universally charmed by them, he released over 60 youngsters’s books.
Theodor Seuss Geisel made public three children’s books prior to World War Two. Written in prose, they were different from his more famous style of basic readers printed later in his life. During the war Seuss worked for a news paper writing political cartoons supporting the war effort. Later he joined the US army, and was in control of its animation department makinging propaganda films such as Your Job in Germany and “Our Job in Japan”.
After the war was over, Seuss returned to authoring children’s books, making masterpieces that are among his most famous today. In 1954 Seuss started an amazing creativity in kids’s literature. Following news reports regarding low literacy levelsamongst children, Seuss received a request from his publisher to create a book only using two hundred and fifty words of essential literary importance to children. This kind of job had never been accomplished up until that time, but Seuss accomplished his task, the ensuing book being The Cat in the Hat. This indicated the start of the “Beginner Books” collection, and Seuss kept on composing books in this fashion, despite the massive challenge it entailed. He also continued writing other books in his previous, more advanced style.
Seuss passed away in 1991, but appreciation of his works has kept on going as strongly as ever, receiving many post-mortem awards and honors all over the planet. With practically all youngsters of the past 2 generations growing up on his books, Seuss’s influence on not only American culture but on the world as a whole is undoubted and he will go down in history as one of the greatest youngsters’s book athors ever.

How Computer Users Can Protect Their Eyes
*****************************************
Stopping Eye Problems For Computer Users
Anyone who spends hours in front of the computer at work every day has doubtless experienced some some discomfort in the eyes, and negative effects on their vision. I spend a good twelve hours per day in front of the computer nearly every day, and after one or two months of this I began to experience a slightly distressing burning sensation in my eyes while using the computer ; my eyes felt dry and itchy ; I could feel debris moving around in my eye socket, beside and behind my eyeballs ; and I began seeing some eye “floaters”, which are black spots that float around in your vision, as well as some black shadows and intermittent light flashes when I moved my eyes. In my efforts to solve this problem I learned a few things computer users can do to protect their eyes and keep them healthy. Note that it’s not that I am a doctor, these are simply some things that I looked into and found them personally extremely useful.
The single most important factor in reducing eye strain and all its successive Problems was to start turning down my computer screen’s lightness. How incorrect I was. The day that I started lowering my screen lightness, the burning sensation in my eyes was reduced by about ninety percent. How much I turn down the screen brightness depends on the brightness of the room. If the room is more brightly lit then I do not scale back the screen lightness as much, but I still scale back the default brightness by a few clicks. Please be active and start reducing your screen brightness before you begin to have Problems.
Your eyes can simply get dry when you’re making them try hard, and this could raise your eye strain and cause more discomfort and worry. All of those small itches and movements you are feeling when your eyes are dry can be pretty scary, like there’s something crawling around back there. But really it’s thanks to the dryness. So I like to recommend you buy some eye drops and apply two drops to each eye every couple of hours, or whenever your eyes feel dry or itchy. Nothing fancy is obligatory, merely a basic vitamin eye drop is good. Some eye drops contain eucalyptus, which has a cooling sensation that can offer relief when you have a burning sensation in your eyes. Another important part of keeping your eyes hydrated is just drinking enough water and eating water-based foods like fruit and vegetables. At work it can be easy to drink nothing but coffee, but coffee is a diuretic that dehydrates your body including your eyes. So make sure you drink plenty of water.
One last thing you can do to keep your eyes healthy and powerful is to consume blueberries or blueberry extract. Blueberry contains anthocyans, a kind of bioflavanoid that is absorbed quickly into the brain cells, and has a fast effect on your vision. So if you’re feeling some heavy eye strain and need immediate effects, as well as eye drops I’d reccommend you consume some blueberries or blueberry extract capsules. I’m taking two blueberry extract capsules everyday for ongoing eye health, and I take an additional dose whenever I feel some heavy strain. Blueberries also contain antioxydants that help stop cancer and are really healthy in general.
The above 3 strategies are what have in particular helped me get over my eye Problems. So use the above strategies and don’t forget to always keep your health as your number 1 priority.

How to Get Over Anger and Bitterness
It happens to every one of us from time to time, and it can be really aggravating. Somebody you trust or thought you had a good relation with does something to betray you or disregard you. But that isn’t necessarily practical if the person is an element of your folks or social circle.
But sourness and hate are powerful feelings which will gain control of you if you do not have systems for working with them. I’m going to tell you about one system I have found terribly useful in conquering or limiting my resentment, anger, and detest of folk I have no way out but to interact with. I first learned this strategy in self-improvement guru Anthony Robbins’ book Awaken The Giant inside. To modify your feelings you have got to change what you concentrate on.
The reason the second question is so strong is that we regularly resist feelings that make us uncomfortable. In this example, as an example, being indignant gives you the appearance of being more in control of the situation, so you resist giving up that hate and moving into a happier state. You are happy with the hate. But by asking the question hypothetically, as in “if you wanted to”, you are removing the resistance because you do not have to personally accept accountability for whatever ideas you come up with roughly that person. You are simply blue-skying hypothetically. But the magic is that your feelings will follow your focus, so even though you are just thinking hypothetically, you are now focusing on something positive and your feelings will move into a more positive state.
Let’s take a look at an example so you’ll understand what I mean. Shall we say your ma is overprotective of you and can’t stop attempting to shelter you from the world although you’re a grown adult. I know from personal experience this can cause plenty of bitterness and disappointment. The first thought person is “Stop trying to control me like a tyrant!” But then you ask the question “What do I respect about my mother?” maybe your answer is “Nothing! She needs to leave me alone” then rephrase the question, “What could you respect about her if you wanted to?” Then you will likely come up with something like “Well, she obviously loves me. She is’s a caring person.” That hypothetical blue-skying has changed your focus and your emotional state, and you most likely have rather more sympathy for her after asking yourself these questions. That doesn’t mean you’ve got to accept her behavior, but it can help you fix it in a sane, positive way rather than degenerating into fury and antagonism that will harm the relationship and scale back your overall happiness.
Learning to control your emotional states can provide you with incredible power over your life and yourself. The above is only 1 practical example, but there are many other ways to take control of your emotions.
Forest Harper has been extraordinarily involved in self improvement for years , and takes a deep interest in controlling your emotional states, as well as changing your beliefs and values to help you achieve the life you need. Making Aromatherapy Jar Candles
Aromatherapy candles are an amazing way to experience the benefits of essential oil products. But regularly the pre-made candles bought in storesare quite small. If you’d like a giant aromatherapy candle which will continue burning for an extended period of time, you may want to create some aromatherapy jar candles. The candle is formed within a glass jar, stopping spillage and dripping.
How do you make aromatherapy jar candles? These are some simple steps.
Step one, naturally, is to obtain some jars. Canning jars are great. They can be purchased in bulk for a rather low price, and come in a selection of sizes to select from. Maybe the best size is approximately a pint. Alternatively, you can clear out some old jelly, mayonaise, or peanut butter jars and use them to make your candle. But please be careful a cylinder shaped jar is the easiest to use. Jars with a narrow top aren’t to be used, due to issues lighting and extiguishing the candle.
The next stage is to obtain wax to be used in producing your candles. While beeswax is the highest quality, it’s also costly. Soy wax is a good alternative as it is healthy and natural. It is usually recommended that you stay away from paraffin, because although it is low-priced its fumes are bad for your fitness, which makes aromatherapy purposeless.
Now that you have wax, you need to choose what oils to include into the candles. Do some research on the characteristics and effects of various oils, and maybe test the scent of some oils in a store to find out which ones you think are soothing and pleasant. You will not need much oil. Only 5 drops of essential oil for every two cups of dry wax flakes.
The wax you buy will possibly come with candle-making instructions. If this is so pay attention those. But these are the main steps you can expect to adhere to. First, heat the wax until it melts. If it is beeswax, you melt it in a double boiler. Some vegetable waxes can be melted in the microwave oven. After the wax is melted and no longer being heated, you add the important oil drops. Remember, only 5 drops of essential oils for each two cups of UNMELTED wax ( you want to measure the wax before liquefying ). After that, place the wick into the jar and hold it in place while pouring the wax within. There’s a device called a wick setter which you’ll find helpful. Then finally, permit the wax to cool down and toughen while the wick is in position. The result will be an aromatherapy candle set within a glass jar.
Making aromatherapy jar candles is easy and fun. Just ensure that you are making use of the acceptable sort of heat source for the kind of wax you are using. Now you can enjoy aromatherapy candles for long hours at an extremely low cost.

About Gold Certificates
What are gold certificates? They are certificates that indicate you are the owner of gold that you do not physically possess. Normally, these certificates are issued by financial institutions from whom you buy gold, and those financial establishments physically store the gold for you. At least that’s how it’s meant to work.
Possessing certificates of possession is like placing your money in a gold pool account. You hand over your money to the company who runs the program, and when you cash out they pay you whatever returns you may have accumulated based on this gold cost. Instead, they are believed to take your money, and invest it in whatever they are expecting to get the best returns rather than in gold, pay you the returns for gold, and pocket the rest of their gains for themselves. That ignores the question of what occurs if they make some bad investment calls and lose your money, and are not able to pay you your returns on the gold price? I don’t know. What occurs if the establishment goes bankrupt what happens to your investment? If it’s's not a physical asset, I suspect it might vanish.
One is that you can basically invest in gold at the official spot price while not having to pay any premiums for physical metal or pay any storage charges. Those premiums and storage costs can cut into your profits quite a lot, so gold certificates represent
One option for gold certificates is the Perth Mint’s gold certificate program. The Perth Mint’s program is full backed by the govt of Western Australia, which affords somewhat more of a feeling of security than possessing gold certificates from a private institution that would go bankrupt and watch your non-physical gold vanish. The Perth Mint’s gold certificate program charges 1.75% costs on all purchases plus a $10 certificate fee, plus a 0.75% fee when you sell. This is much lower than this premiums on physical bullion which have zoomed in the current bullion and coin dearth. There are no storage fees. Your investment is both state backed and insured by Lloyds of London. This is for basic unallocated storage ( though again they do claim to have gold on premises for you, in some form ).
You decide to have put aside for you ).
I am personally someone who is prepared for the worst while at the same time not paranoid, and seeking the best returns possible. Which has lead me to the belief that holding a heap of physical bullion as the base of your portfolio is vital, but that on top of that base it is fine to widen and hold certificates or other kinds of gold accounts that don’t have allocated storage. I actually don’t partake of the Perth Mint program or similar ones, but I do have an e-gold account. I think those are fine as long as you know that there’s some degree of risk, and watch the markets with the willingness to sell your certificates or digital gold if market demand really heats up. I would personally feel very little stress in making an investment in the Perth Mint’s program, though I might potentially avoid a fiscal institution’s certificate program.

Amethyst Gemstone Protects From Intoxication
The Amethyst Gemstone is an enchanting purple gem stone which has been loved by royalty through history, all the way back to 3k B.C. Yet regardless of its royal pedigree, it’s amazingly inexpensive.
It also has curative properties, removing impurities from the bloodstream, strengthening protection and relieving headaches. The ancient Greeks thought that amethyst prevented drunkenness. The name amethyst comes from the Greek word amethystos, meaning “not drunken”, or “sober”. Drinking wine from an amethyst receptacle was thought to allow you to drink alcohol without fear of intoxication. I might have used an amethyst glass on my last birthday!
In Greek folklore, the god of wine, Bacchus, was indignant at mortal humans and made a decision to send his tigers to attack the subsequent mortal to go by. A young girl named Amethyst crossed his path, but before Bacchus’s Tigers could attack, Goddess Diana interposed, turning Amethyst into a mound of purple quartz to protect her. Bacchus later felt ashamed of his aggression, and cried tears of wine over Amethyst, turning her quartz body into the purple stone it is today.
I know you all take care of your temples, but in the event that you do consume alcohol, consider wearing a bit of amethyst to save your mental edge. But do not depend on it to drive!

Tell Me About American Buffalo Gold Coins
America Buffalo Gold Coins are a gold bullion coin produced by the US Mint, which started being sold on June 22, 2006. The most important difference between US Yankee Eagle coins and Yankee Buffalo coins is that the American buffalo is twenty-four K bullion gold bullion, to explain 99.99% pure gold. The flagship Yank Eagles are 22 K gold, to paraphrase .9167% pure gold, with the remainder being a silver and copper amalgamate. Buffalo gold coins were introduced as a consequence of augmenting global demand for twenty-four karat gold coins, and the popularity of Canadian Maple Leafs, Chinese Gold Pandas, and other 99.99 pure gold bullion items.
The design, by James Earle Frase, shows a picture of an American Indian man on the obverse, and a picture of a Yank bison ( buffalo ) on the reverse. The obverse side also encompasses the date at the bottom left, and the word “Liberty” along the top right. The reverse side features the words “United States of America” along the top edge, under that to the righthand1935 Buffalo Nickel Indian Head Coin ( side are the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” which is Latin for “Out of many [*COMMA] one” ( a motto used in many official American symbols ). It also reads “In God We Trust” at the bottom left, and at the bottom the face value, and below the face value the coin’s weight and purity of “.9999 Fine Gold”.
American Buffalo gold coins have also been produced in uncirculated and evidence versions of higher production quality ( and high premium pricing ), but these have been cancelled for the year 2009 due to unprecedented demand for gold bullion coins. In addition, 2009 production of the regular bullion buffalo coins have been put off until further notice. The majority of the skyrocketing investment demand is for American gold eagles, so that the US Mint is setting aside the majority of its gold stockpiles for their production.
American buffalos struck in previous years can be discovered in coin stores and bullion stores. But you may have to go looking to find one because there’s no supply of newly minted coins this year.

How is Gold Mined? The Length To Which We Go To Get Gold
The definition of gold mining is the removal of gold from the Earth, done thru diverse systems. There are 3 main kinds of gold extraction : placer mining / sediment mining, hard rock mining, and byproduct gold mining.
Most other metals aren’t mined using placer mining techniques, but because gold is so valuable even in tiny quantities, placer mining has been used to obtain it, especially in the California gold rush. It is still used to a certain extent nowadays.
How is gold mined? One way is through gold panning. The chief technique of placer mining is gold panning. You add a bit of water to the pan and shake it, and since gold is a very dense mineral it settles fast at the bottom of the pan. People do this at placer deposits, stream beds where gold settles.
An aid to gold panning is the use of a metal detector, which the miner can use to find gold under the surface.
Another placer mining system is sluicing. A sluice box is a box placed in the water stream that gathers gold particles as water streams thru it.
That is what we most typically think about as “mining”, with pits or tunnels dug into the earth to remove gold ore from the hard rock. The largest amount of new gold supplies originate from hard rock mining.
Then there is byproduct gold mining. This suggests that the most important metal being mined is not gold, but that a little gold is extracted together with the main metal. For example, copper mining often results in the extraction of some gold. ( It should be noted that silver is largely a byproduct of copper mining too ).
Once the miners have extracted the gold ore, how can they extract the gold from the ore? The most typical system is gold cyanidation. The gold-bearing ore is finely ground, and then sodium cyanide solution is added to it. The gold and cyanide form a solution that may be separated from the rock.
So how is gold mined? It’s quite a long process simply to obtain gold. It is precisely because of gold’s everlasting prestige and standing as true cash and preserver of wealth that we go to such lengths to obtain the dear yellow metal.
